A china based manufacturer of smart televisions has been accused of spying on its users by scanning their homes for other devices connected to Wi-Fi network every few minutes, owners of the device have reported on social media. Smart TV made by "Skyworth" were found to have an app "Gozen Data" installed on TV, according to post on V2EX website the service was sending back the hostnames, mac, IP address and even the network delay time and sending them to a database.
